We intentionally represent clients in only three practice areas. And that's good for our clients.
We have spent the bulk of our careers practicing in tax controversy, white-collar criminal defense and digital assets. While every engagement is different, the experiences we acquire in each representation provide invaluable insight for future cases. We stay abreast of new legal and procedural developments, as well as government enforcement priorities and tactics, in all three of these ever-changing practice areas.
Tax Controversy and Litigation
We handle all types of tax controversies against the Internal Revenue Service, the United States Department of Justice, and state taxing authorities. Our team can help with audits, administrative appeals, criminal tax investigations and prosecutions, significant tax collection matters, claims for innocent spouse relief, and other matters.
White Collar Criminal Defense
No matter the type or stage of a white collar criminal matter, nor our client’s relationship to the proceeding, we have the knowledge and experience to safeguard our clients’ rights and promote their objectives. We defend clients in criminal investigations and prosecutions, represent witnesses, conduct corporate investigations, and serve as pool counsel.
Cryptocurrency and Other Digital Assets
We counsel prospective and existing participants in the digital assets space as to the legal issues they may confront. Our services include advising on tax matters, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) examinations, responding to subpoenas, and compliance with the BSA and other regulatory regimes.
